About Samantha (she/her)

I value counseling as an opportunity to collaboratively create a trusting and safe relationship as the foundation of the therapeutic process. Integrating your whole self is my guiding principle and I will seek to understand you through your unique subjective experience. 

I believe that humans are highly impressionable from utero to birth and beyond, and through the self-exploration process you can gain insight and deeper self-awareness to inform your personal goals and desired lifestyle. I approach the collaborative process of counseling with empathy and non-judgment to help empower you to make your own choices. 

I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler Graduate school in Minnetonka, Minnesota and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Minnesota. I work with the group practice Iris Mental Health where I offer tele-health services to clients who are utilizing their insurance benefits to cover therapy. I am in-network with most insurance companies. I also offer cash-pay, in-person counseling services and therapy groups out of my office in downtown Hopkins.

Outside of my profession, I enjoy spending time with my 6-year-old son, my husband, and our Australian Shepherd, Morgan. As a family, we enjoy traveling, snowboarding, cooking, and trying the new activities my son wants to explore! I consider myself a rookie gardener; this past summer we expanded our backyard garden and I look forward to flower growing this year.
